Build the financial backbone of one of the fastest-growing sports nutrition brands internationally.

As Finance Controller / Financial Officer, you help create that same level of precision behind the scenes. Working closely with the CFO, you build and improve the financial structure that supports our international growth — ensuring clarity, control and confidence in every decision we make.

We are moving fast. Growth, scalability and professionalisation are at the heart of our ambitions – and Finance plays a key role in making that happen. As Finance Controller / Financial Officer, you work closely with the CFO and help take our finance organisation to the next level.
You’ll support the CFO in the tactical and operational execution of the financial strategy. You translate plans into concrete actions, improvements and projects. You ensure that our financial processes, data and systems are reliable, efficient and future-proof.
You are hands-on, analytical and strong in project-based work. Someone who not only identifies what can be improved, but also takes ownership of making it happen. This is a role for someone who enjoys building, improving and collaborating – with Finance as the foundation for sustainable growth.

Tasks and responsibilities

Finance & Control

  • Support the CFO in executing the financial strategy.
  • Prepare and improve management reports (P&L, cash flow, KPIs).
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and cash planning.
  • Identify financial risks and improvement opportunities.

Processes & projects

  • Initiate and lead finance projects focused on:
    • Data quality and consistency.
    • Process optimisation (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay).
    • Effective integration between systems (ERP, inventory, sales, purchasing).
  • Document and standardise financial processes.
  • Strengthen internal controls and financial governance.

Data & systems

  • Ensure reliable and consistent financial data.
  • Analyse and resolve data quality issues and system bottlenecks.
  • Act as a sparring partner for Operations on system setup and integrations.
  • Ensure systems support the way we work – not create additional complexity.

Coaching & collaboration

  • Coach and train the operational accountant.
  • Act as the first point of contact for complex financial questions.
  • Work closely with Sales, Purchasing and Operations.

What you offer

  • HBO / Bachelor or WO / Master level of working and thinking in Finance, Accounting or Business Economics.
  • 3–7 years of experience in finance or control within an SME environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably Exact Online).
  • Strong affinity with process improvement and data-driven working.
  • Experience with project-based work is a plus.
